Hi All,

I am extending the Request Prospect Manager edit form and I am wondering if in my code can I reference code from the parent?

For example on save the Request Prospect manager edit form does the following:

set @REQUESTID = newid();

						insert into dbo.PROSPECTASSIGNMENTREQUEST (ID, TYPECODE, NEWFUNDRAISERID, SUBMITTEDBYID, STARTDATE, ADDEDBYID, CHANGEDBYID)
						values (@REQUESTID, 0, @PROSPECTMANAGERFUNDRAISERID, @CURRENTAPPUSERID, @STARTDATE, @CHANGEAGENTID, @CHANGEAGENTID);

						insert into dbo.PROSPECTASSIGNMENTREQUESTPROSPECT (ID, PROSPECTID, ADDEDBYID, CHANGEDBYID)
						values (@REQUESTID, @ID, @CHANGEAGENTID, @CHANGEAGENTID);

I need to be able to access the value of @REQUESTID. Any ideas??

the @ID field that comes in should be the @ID coming from your parent form. So you should use the @ID field here. If you need any other fields from the parent, you can use the @ID field to query the parent table for any field.
