We're trying to do this very thing but are having trouble getting to the context id of the parent form - we can't seem to get the to the UI Model of the form we are extending. We've tried Me.HostModel and that is a null object. What would be the code from the custom UI Model that would get us to the context ID of the parent model?

The Infinity Developer Guide includes an example of how to access the parent model. It uses the HostModelChanged event to get a reference to the host model after it has been initialized. My guess is that you're trying to access the host model in the constructor or the Loaded event before the HostModel property has been initialized.

Thanks, that's what it was - I had to use the HostModelChanged event.
